This is a photo about a women staring out into the sea. She is on a beach some where during the summer. She could be on a tropical island and you can see that by the blue water. You can tell that the beach is on the bay because there are no waves. Her hand is up to her face to block the sun. This is a great picture to remind us of summer. This photo was taken at a higher level, most likely from a cliff looking down. When I see this picture I am reminded of summer, and going to the beach. It does not seem to be be many people so this is either a private beach or a beach that no one goes to. You can tell by the shadow that this photo was taken in the afternoon. That tells me that this is a private beach, because there is no one there in the afternoon.

what I like to do
Write about who you are in relation to your family and what you like to do?
I stand out from my family. I tend to go against the gain where they follow the gain. I live my life in today, and don't make plans, what ever happens, happens. In some ways I am very much like my family, and in other ways completely different than my family.
There are a lot of things I love to do, mostly I love to have fun. I love the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter. I also scuba diving which is my new love, I love the water. I like to watch sports, my two favorite are baseball and football. The teams that I love are the NY Giants and the Mets. I like to travel and see new places. This is just some of the things I like to do.

Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams was born 2/20/1902 and died 4/22/1984. He is well known for his black and white photographs of the American West, his favorite place to take photos was at Yosemite National Park. He and Fred Archer developed the Zone System in 1955. The Zone System is a way to determine proper exposure and adjust the contrast of the final print. This resulted in clarity and depth. He is also the founder of the Group f/64 and this group created the Museum of Modern Art's department of photography. The f/64 got it's name from a setting of a camera aperture that gives particularly good resolution and depth of field.
Ansel Adams was born in 1902 in San Francisco, California. Ansel Adams first camera was Kodak, Brownie Box. Adams first love was not photography instead it was playing the piano. When he was 12 years old he taught himself how to play the piano, and read music. Ansel Adams during his childhood found joy in nature. Adams love of nature was "nurtured in the Golden Gate, his life was, colored and modulated by the great earth gesture of the Yosemite National Park".

Ansel Adams's "Blowing Snow" from 1955
This is a famous picture from Ansel Adams. It was taken in 1955, called "Half Dome, Blowing Snow." All of Ansel Adams work is in black and white. When you look at this picture you can almost feel the snow blowing off the mountain, you also can feel cold looking at this picture. It looks like it is a windy day as you can see the snow blowing, the sun is going down as you can see the shadow from the sun on the mountain and where the picture was taken starting to get dark.
To get a picture during this time Ansel Adams had to hike and carry all of his equipment just to get a great shot. He did not set up any of his shots, took them as it happened, and the way nature gave it to him. All of Ansel Adams pictures for me is what I try to capture when I am taking pictures of landscapes. All of Ansel Adams photos are of landscapes and this is just one of many photos taken by Ansel Adams.
