Ansel Adams's "Blowing Snow" from 1955

This is a famous picture from Ansel Adams. It was taken in 1955, called "Half Dome, Blowing Snow." All of Ansel Adams work is in black and white. When you look at this picture you can almost feel the snow blowing off the mountain, you also can feel cold looking at this picture. It looks like it is a windy day as you can see the snow blowing, the sun is going down as you can see the shadow from the sun on the mountain and where the picture was taken starting to get dark.
To get a picture during this time Ansel Adams had to hike and carry all of his equipment just to get a great shot. He did not set up any of his shots, took them as it happened, and the way nature gave it to him. All of Ansel Adams pictures for me is what I try to capture when I am taking pictures of landscapes. All of Ansel Adams photos are of landscapes and this is just one of many photos taken by Ansel Adams.
